Advertising Campaign

My assignment was to create a series of print advertising campaigns. I had to choose an existing brand or company for which I will create an advertisement. Our objective was to learn how to visualize and present a strong brand message, to understand relationships between headline and visuals in contents, and to learn effective design solutions using hierarchy and consistency in contents.

Since I like wearing leather jackets I chose a leather jacket company called Bernardo.

Nameplate

The assignment was by Using only Univers or Garamond type face to create a nameplate that will identify me. Therefore I used two names that identify me. One of them is my real Polish name and the other is my American name. I made a tree because I wanted it to represent the relationship and the meaning in between the two of the names. I wanted to illustrate this in the concept of a family tree.

Corporate Identity

I had to redesign an identity system for an existing company or organization. So I chose a construction company (Frazier Construction Company) with a very poorly designed logo which I redesigned.

Poster Design

The assignment was to create a poster with size: 17’ x 24’. Take the lyrics from a favorite song and combine them with an appropriate image which is either found or original. Any technique was appropriate.

I chose my favorite song entitled “Teardrop” from a very known band called Massive Attack. The lyrics are about starting and preparing for a new life. So I came up with an idea of illustrating an unborn baby inside belly.

Design of a new Sunday magazine for Newsday. The name of the magazine is "Focus".
